Continuous training even during this pandemic

One of the largest food manufacturing plants in the Philippines have around 18 plants located nationwide has requested us to provide a virtual training for their employees. We made the arrangements with their Corporate Engineering team and saw about 150 participants online.

During the training, we brought the participants through topics such as Basics of Lubrication, Food Grade Lubrication and Lubrication Management. The training was targeted to help them have a better lubrication management at their plants. We received some enquiries during the virtual training, and we are handling the concerns of various stakeholders separately. It was a good training session because we were introduced as their Technical Partner in Lubrication by the Corporate Engineering personnel to the participants.

On a separate story, we have also conducted a face-to-face training for one of the biggest beverage manufacturers in the Philippines. The training was planned for the ground crew who were tasked to operate a new canning line. The training was interactive since the staff were assigned in small groups and exchanged their knowledge and experiences around lubrication. They were also pleased to gain more knowledge about lubrication through the session.

After the classroom training, we performed a line-walk around the new canning line. We found out that Klüber Lubrication were recommended for some of their equipment, and that opened an opportunity to have further discussion. Additionally, we were asked to support the team with a creation of a lubrication map for this new line. It is now ongoing along with a committed order from the customer.
