In the Philippines, Mr. Zeng Yong Shun met with the team from Krypton Industrial Resources at Bai Hotel where he delivered a full-day training about Basic Lubrication and Persuasive Selling for more than 10 people on July 11, 2022. The sales teams of Mindanao and Visayas attended the training along with their management team.
The purpose of the training was to provide strong selling techniques to the sales teams in pushing Klüber Lubrication products to their customers besides the advantages over our competitors' products. We received warm feedback at the end of the session including a longer training duration for the next refresher workshop. With this, the Sales Team is now more equipped in promoting Klüber Lubrication to their customers.
Further to Mr. Carlos Mena’s earlier Jakarta visit, he supported Simpex Machineries with refrigeration compressor applications in Manila in mid July. Together, we visited four customers which are mostly cold storage plants. We taught the customers about the benefits of using Klüber Summit RHT 68. We also informed them that with our oil, the oil change interval would be longer at 12,000 oph or more, and they would also get the possible benefits of energy savings. Most of the customers are changing their oil at 2,500 to 5,000 oph. We were also given the opportunity to visit a customer with ammonia compressor units to check the conditions as well as the quality of current oils used. We found most of the oils which they were using to be naphthenic-based which appeared in a dark color during our inspection. We were hence tasked to prepare a proposal for the customer's review.
In addition, we organised trainings for two large beverage plants regarding Basic Lubrication and moved on to developing a lubrication mapping for them.
