Kamusta in a post-pandemic time

Very recently, we sent Callum and Yongshun to the Philipines in late May. Under Tyrone's coordination, Callum visited and supported a large beverage account with factories based in Davao, Misamis Oriental and Zamboanga.

Over there, we were able to conduct a line walk for the first time since the pandemic, where Callum focused on doublechecking the lubrication mapping conducted in his absence. Under our strong support, the customer is confident of using Klüber products for subsequent new lines to be implemented in the next months.

As for Yongshun, he met and caught up with the key channel partners including CBC and Simpex at their respective offices. Joint customer visits were also scheduled together with CBC to two key food customers at their plants located in Cagayan de Oro, assisting them with their lubrication concerns, from various lubrication points like fryer bearings, to homogenizers and vacuum pumps.

Since one of the customers spotted varnish and sludge in their equipment, we made a check on the affected areas and recommended the technical team with Varnasolv FG (Klüber Summit Varnasolv // Klüber Lubrication (klueber.com)) which is a Food Grade cleaner for their consideration. That will certainly reduce serious operational problems resulting in excessively high maintenance costs.
