KlüberEfficiencySupport provides extensive additional service with real added value

The COVID-19 pandemic situation has changed the way we all work. There are many cases where onsite visits are no longer possible at the moment. However this does not mean that our work has to stop. In fact, our KlüberEfficiencySupport has gained importance during this period, providing value added solutions that goes beyond a simple lubrication recommendation.

Food customer in Vietnam

One of our largest food customers in Vietnam recently installed a brand new filling line which must be in full compliant when it starts full production. They contacted our channel partner in Vietnam asking to carry out a full mapping and produce full documentation. This normally meant that our regional food manager would have to visit the plant and spend one or two days gathering the necessary information. With the current travel restrictions, it was not possible.

Using our data collection spread sheet, our channel partner and customer were able to gather all the necessary photos and information required to compile a detailed lube mapping containing all the information necessary to ensure the safe and effective lubrication of the complete line. The new line was able to commence production in full Trusted Platform Module (TPM) compliance.

In return for this service, our channel partner received a significant order for lubricants which have been recommended. They also indicated that they want to duplicate this service across the entire plant on other existing lines.

Beverage customer in Philippines

In late 2019, one of the largest beverage manufacturer in Philippines placed an order for five new filling lines which were to be installed in five separate plants across the country. Having seen our work at a new plant in Cambodia, the Regional Engineering Director sought the same service in the Philippines which included lubrication training and mapping. In return, the customer started every line with our lubricants supplied by our channel partner, Cornell.

Cornell recently completed a series of online trainings which were well received by more than fifty engineers and technicians across the Philippines. With the current pandemic situation and travel restrictions, travelling to the plants to conduct surveys on the new lines is not possible. However, that did not mean that we could not fulfill the requirement of our customers. Similar to the data collection sheets as the food customer in Vietnam, this beverage customer was able to provide us with enough information to successfully compile a lube mapping from all the new lines. As a result, they have committed to order all recommended lubricants, with a significant value, from our channel partner Cornell.
