Over the years, our distributors, Connell Caldic and Krypton International Resources have been diligently exploring business opportunities within the mining sectors. They have approached several Mining customers for potential business opportunities. Their hard work have paid off because in Q2 2024, our distributors successfully received orders from two new Mining customers.
For Connell Caldic, after so many years, they were now able to convince a Mining customer to use our Klüberfluid C-F 3 Ultra. They received an initial order for three drums and will do the installation on one of the Ball Mill Open Gears. They will be getting or closing two more Open Gears opportunities before the year ends.
For Krypton, they were able to get an initial order of four drums of Klüberfluid C-F 3 Ultra for a Mining customer which they have been working on since last year. They were using Shell OG Clear which is also a transparent Open Gear Lubricant. We were able to address some of their technical concerns and as a result, they decided that they will use our Open Gear Lubricant. They were also interested with our wire rope lubricant and we will be visiting them soon to support them with this application.
