New Total Productive Management (TPM) project in the pipeline

In Indonesia, we received a Total Productive Management (TPM) project request from a key tobacco customer whose 11 plants are based in Kediri Surabaya.

In today's market, customers have started paying more attention and concern with TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) in their production facilities to enable them to monitor and optimise their assets.

Customer is keen in adopting Klüber Lubrication Total Productive Management (TPM), going beyond individual solutions for applications developed by our experts. Predictive maintenance with data supported by laboratory analyses and continuous cost optimisation help reduces operating costs in the long run.

With the order being confirmed, our channel partner, PT. Arianto Darmawan will begin with the pre-audit inspections for their plant facilities, supported by our Regional Food Manager, Mr Callum MacLeod. This is to ensure the lubrication points involving Primary and Secondary manufacturing processes are fully covered and the entire production process is in compliance with Food Safety when the full mapping of the 11 plants are completed.

We are currently checking customer's expectations and working out a scheduled timeline to kick start this TPM project in January 2022.
